Western Kiss
I had once started a rock band under this name, but then repurposed it when I started making electronic music.
Fun fact, if you print vinyl records, you generally need to get a lot of them made, so if you’re in the market for, oh, a couple of hundred copies of a split 7" with me on one side and my buddy Mark (Orisons) on the other, you let me know
Smiles
Smiles is perhaps the only properly good band I’ve ever been in. It went through a few iterations and I got to work with some truly amazing people.
Initially there was all kinds of extra instrumentation (saxaphone, prayer bowls, a gong), but eventually it settled on 3 guitarists, which was super interesting to work within. Each voice had to hang back a little.
